FROM PASSION TO VISION

Vision is usually a product of passion.  A lay Christian migrant from northern Philippines settled in Gen Santos, South Cotobato. His burden was to preach Christ to the Bilaan tribe.  He would walk the mountains and valleys of the countryside for 2 hours in order to reach and minister to these mountain people.  For 17 years, Lay Preacher, Gerardo Cuaresma planted 35 Bilaan congregations and transformed the tribal community into a new civilization with the Gospel of Christ.

This seed germinate in the heart of young Moises, who in spite of his “waywardness and stubbornness,” in God’s mysterious ways followed his father into the ministry, pastored and shepherd rural and urban congregation in the Philippines, elected as District superintendent of Luzon and Palawan and soon migrated to the US and later founded the FLOCK Ministries International Inc.  based in Seattle, Washington.  FLOCK currently assist several churches and ministries in the US, Philippines, India, Tibet, etc.

Core Values:

    Glorifying God

We love Him wholeheartedly and passionately seek to complete the work He has given us to do. (John 17:4, John 20:21b)
We are motivated by the glory of God. It is the driving force of our mission. We understand the passion of God is that His Kingdom be established in every “ethne.” Through this He is glorified.

Scripture

We embrace the absolute authority of all Scripture in everything it addresses and in all that it teaches. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that scripture describes unredeemed people as lost. This lostness motivates us to proclaim the gospel to those who have not yet heard.
We believe that an eternal hell awaits those who remain outside of God’s redeeming grace in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we do all in our power to persuade people to believe and obey Jesus Christ.

Christ-centered Life

We lead believers into the fullness of the Spirit, encouraging them to trust the all-sufficient Christ for healing and power to live a holy life of service. (Acts 1:8; Isaiah 53:4,5; Romans 8:11; 12:1,2; Colossians 21:27)
We are committed to strategies that initiate movements that multiply the numbers of local churches within a cultural milieu.
The Holy Spirit’s anointing is the only source of power for effective missionary ministry.
Through the lives of redeemed people the good news of Christ’s Kingdom will impact a community socially, physically, spiritually and intellectually and thus, transformed the nation. This is the wholistic church and community we envisioned.

Churches

We do everything possible to equip and plant wholistic local and global churches which are God’s instrument for reaching the world. (Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 5:27)
Responsible Evangelism: We love lost people, lead them to Christ, and disciple them to maturity. (Matthew 28:19-20; John 14:6; Ephesians 4:12-14; 2 Corinthians 5:14)
Missions: We prioritize the evangelization of the least reached people groups expediting the return of Christ. (Matthew 24:14; Romans 15:20a; Luke 19:10)
Prayer: We do nothing until we pray. (Ephesians 6:18-20; John 5:17; Philippians 4:6) The work of mission and ministry is born in prayer, sustained in prayer and completed in prayer.

Lifestyle

We believe that missionaries and ministers, laypeople and clerics, must view the cultivation of their personal walk with Christ to be of utmost priority.
We believe that missionaries and ministers, lay and clerics must demonstrate the attitude of servant leadership (godly, consultative working as a team, pastoral, visionary, empowering and culturally sensitive).
We believe that an obedient, submissive and humble attitude is essential to the harmonious work of advancing Christ’s Kingdom.  We believe that suffering, self-denial and sacrifice are to be expected in the advance of Christ’s Kingdom.

Administration

We believe that input, feedback and evaluation are necessary in the decision-making process.
We believe that individuals and teams are developed under God and by godly coach-mentors
We believe that the efficient use of human and financial resources should characterize our organizational  and ministries efforts.

Strategy

We seek to be non-sectarian developing strategic partnerships with those of like-minded message, mission, ministry, passion and purpose.
We believe it is important to take time to master the temperament, behavior and needs of the people and community we seek to reach and to understand their culture in order to plant Christ’s church with an epic approach to its context.

Our People

Our greatest resource is our people, whom we seek to develop and care for with consideration of their giftedness, uniqueness, needs and call.

        philosophy of service & Ministry

The main thrust of FLOCK is to assist, create, and provide a platform for Christians seeking to serve Jesus Christ. And that ministry whether church plant, church development, evangelism, Christian education, literature, missionary or in other fields of Christian endeavors is propelled by unselfish love. The possibilities to this philosophy of service, if a Christians will buy into it, is great.

FLOCK is not in the business of recruiting and hiring ministers. "You preach and we pay". No ! We are all volunteers and partners . No hired worker.

It's still a "Faith Ministry". Dr. Khrole in his book, "The Vanishing Ministry" said, "There are no    guarantees, only God".

Motives in joining the Team is in its name, "For The Love of Christ and Kindred". It is also FLOCK unique ministry to help other unknown pastors to rise from their lowly predicament to a higher level of life and service as they discover their great potentials.

In short, you are the "key "to your fruitfulness and success".

You and FLOCK perhaps can be   Partners .
